Foggy Otis

"I’ve owned a number of high-end instruments over the years and I’ve gotta say, none are as perfect a fit for my playing style as Mya-Moe ukuleles. From the radiused fingerboard, perfectly polished frets and impeccable intonation, they’re an absolute joy to play for hours on end. Sound-wise my Mya-Moe is second to none, I particularly love the amount of sustain the uke is capable of. The updated bridge design makes changing strings easier than ever. Rather than tying the strings to the bridge, they now get threaded through the top, through the bridge, then over the saddle to the Gotoh tuners. I’m convinced this design really boosts the sustain. The high level of craftsmanship is obvious just by looking at the instrument but wow, when you feel it in your hands you’ll be amazed at how lightweight yet sturdy these ukes feel. The wooden label inside the uke is a very nice touch that even extends to the beautiful tweed case that came with my tenor. The case bears a really cool, wooden, Mya-Moe Ukuleles nameplate. Details matter and Cary Kelly takes that belief to happy extremes, building the most responsive, beautiful sounding, aesthetically pleasing ukuleles around. Uke on! "
