Rick was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He has played with Joe Ely, Lloyd Maines, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Butch Hancock, Tommy X Hancock and the Supernatural Family Band. In 1986 he moved to Hood River. He is currently a full-time musician, teaching guitar and ukulele. He performs with Django's Cadillac, The Hapa Hillbillies and The Wasco Brothers. Rick's feedback contributed to a redesign of the coverplate string termination on our resonator ukuleles.
