This is the first lap steel we've made from sapele, and based on the tone of this instrument, we'll be building several more. Great warmth, yet excellent sustain and note attack. The wavy sapele is a subtlely beautiful wood.

Hand-crafted in the USA by Gordon & Char Mayer. Each instrument is numbered & signed.
