Quilted Cherry

 

 

Cherry is a wonderful choice for a Mya-Moe Ukulele, especially a resonator. It is Char's personal favorite resonator wood, and the instrument pictured above is her personal instrument.

 

This wood delivers a great balance, with great sustain & attack, yet a very nice blend across the strings. With your eyes closed, it would be difficult to tell the difference between cherry, sycamore and myrtle.

 

Add to all these great attributes the fact that cherry is a sustainable domestic wood.

 

Quilted cherry is very rare, and we are only able to get sets of this from time-to-time.
