Palo Escrito is another dense, imported tonewood. With grain that is nearly as contrasted as Zebrawood, it has a tone that is nearly in the middle of the spectrum.
You don't see many instruments made from Palo Escrito, and that's unfortunate for musicians. It has a wonderful tone with beautiful aethetics.
