Master-Grade Myrtle (+300)

Myrtle is the wood that we use in the Mya-Moe Northwest Aloha Series. It delivers an exceptionally well-balanced tone.

 

Myrtle comes in a very wide variety of colors and figuring. The most unique sets are part of our master-grade. Shown below are some sets we have on hand.

 

 

 

 

 

Frog's Hair Curly Myrtle

 

This was named by the wood supplier who passed on this wood to us. He says the curl is so tight that it can only be described as "frog's hair." At any rate, we haven't seen anything like this either. The boards are only wide enough to accommodate concert or soprano sizes. Tough to capture in a photo, this is going to be amazing under finish.
