What the Musicians Say...
"WOW!!! It is perfect. Intonation is dead on. Balanced from string to string. The most resonant uke I've ever heard.
ps. The uke came in the mail today with a grammy. - Daniel Ho, multiple grammy winner

“Mya-Moe Resophonic Tenors are the only ukes on the market that come with the voice of a 78 year old Mississippi Bluesman already inside!” - Lil Rev, www.lilrev.com
|
“The Mya-Moe slide uke is a joy.
- James Hill, www.ukulelejames.com

"Big sound, great feel. Problem is - I can't stop playing it! - Ben Bonham, www.benbonham.com

"In recording we don't have to compress the hell out of this uke to get it to "pop", and thus can create a more natural sound, and still be heard over the other instruments. Again, I would never have thought that a wood would make so dramatic a difference on such a little box. And of course, looking at the instrument from any angle is beautiful, the cherry is a natural work of art - and all of the different woods and appointments complement each other so well. Even the spruce top you chose is flecked with brown, giving it character as well. And that matching rosette rope pattern is a killer!
You & Char should be very proud of what you've created - I know that the instrument will bring me a lifetime of happiness." - Frank Mozino |
"My Mya-moe uke is in a class by itself. It somehow seems to combine an extremely warm tone with the ability to cut through in any playing situation. Rick Hulett, www.rickhulett.com |
"Gordon & Char's instruments inspire me to be a better musician. I feel really blessed to have such a great opportunity to be part of the creative process on making such fine instruments!" - Craig Chee, www.craigchee.com |
"My first reaction to playing my Mya-Moe was 'Mamma Mia'! The instrument is a pleasure to play. I literally can't put it down & feel honoured to own such a finely crafted & magnificent sounding instrument. I am the envy of Langley's Ukulele playing community. The instrument is a thing of beauty - a masterpiece the likes of which Michelangelo would be proud!" - Peter Luongo, Director of the Langley Ukulele Ensemble |
