strings

There are a variety of stringing options, depending upon the preference of the musician. These include clear nylon, nylgut, fluorocarbon, wound 3rd string, high-G or low-G and a wound 4th sring. We also have strings specifically designed for D6 tuning (a-d-f#-b). For more information, see our page on strings.

 

Abalone purfling- add $250

On the top of the instrument, we inlay abalone purfling around the outside edge.

 

Electronics - add $150

• We exclusively use K&K Electronics for our instruments.

• The jack replaces the end pin & has a place for your strap to attach.

• Electronics can be added when the insrument is made, or at any time thereafter.
