Your instrument starts with a choice of model.
The Classic offers the look and sound of the traditional ukulele. For our classic, we strive for a pronounced voice, great note distinction, and excellent sustain. The Classic is available in tenor, concert and soprano sizes.
The Resonator model has an incredible voice which can keep up with all the other instruments in an acoustic jam circle. If you're looking for a ukulele which stands out, this is the one for you. Only available in tenor size.
The Lap Steel is based on our resonator design. A Mya-Moe exclusive, the lap steel tenor has steel strings, a square neck & a high nut to achieve that classic lap steel feel & sound. The lap steel is only available in tenor size.
The 6-String Classic is our newest model and based on our classic design. The #1 and #3 strings (A and C) are doubled up one octave apart, giving the instrument great acoustic depth. Only available in tenor size.
All of our models are available in any combination of top & back/side woods. Koa, mango and sapele often have tops that match the back/sides. All the other back/side wood choices are paired with a spruce, cedar or redwood top. This combination provides for excellent volume, attack, sustain and depth.
Note that The Tradition is only available in select grade koa or mango and has no options, so the Custom Shop doesn't apply.
