Scott Aller

"I do all of my song writing on my ukes. I can take them anywhere no matter how I'm traveling. Playing a uke in general is a topic of discussion, but when you bust out a resonator uke, and especially one that sounds and looks as good as my Mya-Moe, you're immediately in the spotlight."

Scott Aller is mostly known for being the drummer in the Boulder Acoustic Society, but rumors have it that he has a secret love for something smaller and more quiet. There are reports of him sneaking off to play his Mya-Moe uke all around the nation. Aller was born in raised in Fort Collins, CO where he started drumming at age 5 and played in Jazz and Punk bands all through grade school. He left for city of Denver after high school to get a degree in Music Business at the University of Colorado at Denver. Various ensembles and opportunities during college led him to The Boulder Acoustic Society, whom he's been touring with for 3 years. Aller also has a strong dedication to giving back to the musical community. When he's not on tour, he owns and operates an entertainment consulting group in Denver called 5280 Live that helps integrate performance art into city development with a goal to create more opportunities for musicians, and provide greater entertainment for the residents and tourists of the Mile High City.
